On 18 August, Ambassador Wu Peng visited JINA Company Ltd, a Chinese-invested enterprise in Durban. Acting Consul General Miao Miao of the Chinese Consulate General in Durban accompanied the visit. Ambassador Wu commended the company for its positive contribution to local employment and the industrialisation of South Africa’s consumer goods sector.

Established in 2006, JINA Company Ltd currently employs 1,200 South African workers.
